Following the leak of a camcorder-recorded version of the full trailer for next year’s Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. have released it properly.

In a week where the Terminator: Genisys trailer has given away one of the key plot points of the movie, and the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has excited outpourings of nostalgia, this simply hints at the reasons for Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne to don the Bat-suit after public opinion seems to turn against Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel.

The trailer was meant to be launched at a special IMAX event on Monday, which will still go ahead. Director Zack Snyder tweeted: “Cell Phone v IMAX. IMAX Event BvS fans will still be first & only to see special IMAX BvS teaser #AFewExtraShotsPlusALittleSwag #NotPirated”

The movie is released March 25, 2016.
