Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Alan Rickman, Olivia Cooke and Douglas Booth will star in the adaptation of Peter Ackroyd’s 1994 novel, Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem.

To be known simply as The Limehouse Golem, the movie, based on Jane Goldman’s script, will be directed by Juan Carlos Medina. Set in 1880 and described as being “in the style of David Fincher’s Se7en and James Watkins’ The Woman in Black” it follows a series of murders which have shaken the Limehouse community to the point where people believe that only a legendary creature from dark times, the mythical Golem, must be responsible.
