Ray Donovan and Southland producer Cheo Hodari Coker will be showrunning Marvel’s Luke Cage, which is set to air in 2016.
Coker will be writing the first two episodes of the series, and executive producing the entire run. Coker’s feature film credits include Fox Searchlight’s rap biopic Notorious. He also authored the book Unbelievable: The Life, Death, and Afterlife of The Notorious B.I.G.
Mike Colter will star as Luke Cage in the third of Netflix’s four Marvel TV series.
