It seems to have been a long time coming, but Sleepy Hollow has finally received a third season order from Fox.
Former Glades executive producer Clifton Campbell will be on board the third year as showrunner, to replace Mark Goffman, who left the show last week. Fox had delayed a renewal, with Fox chairman Dana Walden admitting at the TCAs in January that “We want to get back to something that feels a little bit more episodic in nature, it has become overly serialized… We are trying to return the fun to it a little bit.”
“He is an excellent producer, and we can’t wait to see what this team has in store for Season 3,” Fox entertainment president David Madden said of Campbell.
