Stephen King’s short story The Jaunt, about the perils of a new form of travel, has been optioned by Plan B, according to a report at Deadline.
The 1981 short story first appeared in Twilight Zone magazine, and now features in the Skeleton Crew collection. It is one of King’s forays into SF, although it has a fair degree of horror involved. Plan B have set Andy and Barbara Muschietti to work on the project, with Andy likely to direct.
