With the live-action version of Cinderella receiving critical acclaim, it looks as if Disney are going ahead with a similar version of another of their greatest hits, Dumbo.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Tim Burton is in the frame to direct the project, based on the script by Ehren Kruger. Burton was responsible for the reimagining of Alice in Wonderland for Disney a few years ago.
The new Dumbo will be in production alongside the new Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens and Luke Evans.
