Former Species and CSI star Marg Helgenberger is going to be taking a sojourn Under the Dome in the third season of CBS’ adaptation of the Stephen King novel.

The series will be switching nights for its new run in the States, premiering in its 9 pm slot on Thursdays on June 25 with a two-hour opener. Helgenberger’s extended story arc will begin with the premiere episode, as the town’s inhabitants figure out the Dome’s purpose and what it wants from them.

Zoo, based on James Patterson’s novel about coordinated animal attacks against humans, starts on June 30th. Extant returns for its second season on July 1st.
