We’ve had cast announcements for most of the new incarnations of the original X-Men characters, but Bryan Singer has waited till now to reveal who will be donning the blue skin and pointed tail for Nightcrawler.
According to his Instagram account, Kodi Smit-McPhee will play the young version of Kurt Wagner, the teleporting German X-Man. The Australian actor has a strong genre CV already with appearances in The Road, Let Me In, ParaNorman and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
