Oz the Great and Powerful’s James Franco will play time travelling teacher Jake Epping in the new miniseries adaptation of Stephen King’s epic novel about the Kennedy assassination, 11/22/63.
Franco will also be a producer on the upcoming Hulu Original series from J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions, acclaimed author Stephen King, executive producer/writer Bridget Carpenter and Warner Bros. Television.
The project has been in development for some time; the nine-episode series was picked up by Hulu last September.
