Star Wars fans will have a good reason to flock to Madame Tussauds in London this summer, with the news that a special exhibition dedicated to the first six episodes of the saga will be opening in May.
According to the official release, “Star Wars at Madame Tussauds will be a unique, immersive experience featuring 16 of the most famous heroes and villains in scenes from some of the most iconic moments featured in Star Wars Episodes I – VI.
Scenes will include the Dagobah swamp where Luke first meets Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back and a selection of photos depicting the preparation have been released by Madame Tussauds and can be seen here. Sculptors on the project include Stephen Mansfield, who worked on the later episodes of the classic Doctor Who series.
