The fourth season of CBBC’s Wizards vs. Aliens could be some time coming, according to a report in Broadcast.
The show is currently technically “on hiatus” – it has not been cancelled, but a fourth series has yet to be commissioned because “there is not enough money” to produce it, according to co-creator Russell T Davies.
Third season producer Derek Ritchie was recently announced as the producer on Toby Whithouse’s two-part story for Doctor Who’s ninth season, currently filming in Cardiff.

So in about 2025 or there abouts do we expect a badly made US co-production, followed by a triumphant recreation in 2040 which retains a lingering embarrassment about its predecessor right up until Dan Starkey makes a cameo appearance…
