On the heels of the CW’s Mark Pedowitz confirming early renewals for Arrow and The Flash, the shows’ creators have indicated that another DC hero could be heading for the small screen.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour on January 11, Pedowitz noted that “We are in preliminary discussions to expand the Flash-Arrow universe,” and Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim added that they are in “very early talks” on the “very general idea” of an Atom series.

The CW confirmed last July that former big screen Superman Brandon Routh would be appearing on Arrow’s third season as an iteration of the character. The executive producers did point out that they were not allowed to discuss the situation further.
