Phil Ford’s script for the second part of Wizards vs Aliens’ The Thirteenth Floor has been nominated for a Writers Guild Award.
It’s up for contention for the Best Children’s TV Script against Bye Bye by Denise Cassar and the Bing writing team, and Strange Hill High: MCDXX Men by Mark Oswin & James Griffiths. The story was originally planned for the fifth season of The Sarah Jane Adventures, but never used following Lis Sladen’s passing.
In the radio categories, Anita Sullivan’s The Bee Maker, one of this year’s Dangerous Visions, is up for Best Radio Drama.
Sandi Toksvig will present the Awards at RIBA, in London, on the evening of Monday 19 January 2015.
