Lewis Jacobs/ Still Photographer, 2008According to reports at Deadline, Breaking Bad’s Krysten Ritter is going to be playing Jessica Jones in the second of Marvel’s TV series on Netflix.

The actress, also well known for her comedy roles, will play the superhero who hangs up her costume suffering from PTSD and opens a detective series in the 13 part series. The character was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos for the first issue of Alias in November 2001, and is currently married to Luke Cage, Power Man, whose adventures are also set to appear on Netflix.
