Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell’s graphic novel From Hell, about the life of Jack the Ripper, is going to be adapted once again, this time for cable channel FX.
David Arata, who adapted P.D. James’ Children of Men, is penning the new version based on Moore and Campbell’s original. Don Murphy, who produced the 2001 movie, will also produce this, although the Hughes brothers, who directed that film, will not be involved.
No indication has yet been given regarding the potential length of this new envisioning of the material.
