Knight RiderProlific US TV producer Glen A. Larson has died, aged 77.

As first reported on social media, notably by Nick Nugent, author of The Knight Rider Companion, Larson passed away on November 14.

Larson learned his trade working with Quinn Martin on shows such as The Fugitive, and became well known following the creation of Battlestar Galactica, which appeared in the wake of Star Wars, and prompted a law suit from 20th Century Fox. Larson’s catalogue of genre shows formed the backbone of many fans’ childhood, including Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Knight Rider, Automan, Manimal and The Fall Guy.
