Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer is set to star in zombie thriller Patient Zero, according to a report at Deadline.

Patient Zero deals with the consequences of on an unprecedented global pandemic that causes the evolution of a new species. An aggressive form of rabies turns the infected into predators, addicted to violence. An inexplicably gifted human survivor with the ability to speak the new mutant language – to be played by Dormer – leads a hunt for Patient Zero and hope for a cure.

Stefan Ruzowitzky will direct from a script written by Mike Le; Dormer’s other screen credits include Captain America and the upcoming Hunger Games sequels Mockinjay Parts 1 and 2. She can be heard in the Radio 4 production of Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere as Lady Door.
