Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

The DC universe takeover of the American TV scene continues with the announcement that Fox has given a put pilot commitment to Lucifer, DC’s take on the Lord of Hell as seen initially in the Sandman comics.

In this variant of his story, Lucifer gets bored with reigning in Hell, so resigns and decides to open a piano bar in Los Angeles named Lux. Californication’s Tom Kapinos is behind the project as writer and executive producer.

However, it would seem unlikely that Fox will be able to attract the actor whose looks inspired the Vertigo comics version – David Bowie.
