The long-gestating remake of the classic John Badham 1980s movie War Games has come a step closer to reality with the announcement that MGM is in negotiations with Project Almanac‘s Dean Israelite and Grace of Monaco‘s Arash Amel to direct and script the movie respectively.
The 1983 movie, about teenagers who find a back door into a Defence Department computer and nearly cause a third world war, has been the subject of speculation for some years, with Seth Gordon initially attached to direct it.
