Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Stardust and Broadwalk Empire star Charlie Cox has been cast as the Man Without Fear in Marvel’s new 13 episode Daredevil TV series for Netflix.

The official release makes it clear that the series is retaining its comic book roots: “Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.”

Agents of SHIELD, Heroes and Smallville’s Jeph Loeb is named in the release as executive producer alongside the recently announced Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard. The show, the first of four Marvel show on Netflix, will premiere early next year.
