The Tomorrow People’s American jaunt is over – the CW has decided not to renew the show for a second season. The network has also decided to get rid of Star-Crossed. However, The 100 and Beauty and the Beast will be returning.
The Tomorrow People, based on the UK series which ran in the 1970s and 1990s, failed to connect with the key demographic, according to industry sources.
The CW has replaced the two genre shows with two others: The Flash, from Greg Berlandi and Andrew Kreisberg, and iZombie from Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero. It has previously renewed Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Supernatural.

Typical, just when it was getting interesting, and I decided to ”get into it” they do it again. What’s the point of even watching any new show on TV. These bean counters, TV executives, only survive because TV has an audience. They don’t give a dam about what we want, it’s all about the ratings and advertising while the show is on. Well it’s time to read a good book instead.
