According to a report at Deadline, Fox has decided not to pick up a second season of the J.J. Abrams/J.H. Wyman SF series Almost Human, starring Dredd‘s Karl Urban.

Although its ratings weren’t particularly stellar, matching The Following, the series, about a cop (Urban) partnered with a lifelike combat model android (Michael Ealy) had done well enough for renewal to be possible. However, the strength of Fox’s other pilots – including Gotham – seems to have sealed the series’ fate.
