The Doctor Who 50th anniversary stories – The Day of the Doctor and An Adventure in Space and Time – were two of the winners at the BAFTA Craft Awards announced on April 27th, with In the Flesh’s Dominic Mitchell also triumphing.

The visual effects team on The Day of the Doctor – Milk VFX, Real SFX, and The Model Unit – won the Special, Visual and Graphic Effects award, while Vickie Lang received the Make Up and Hair Design award for An Adventure in Space and Time.

In the Flesh’s Mitchell won the Drama Writer Award at the ceremony, which was hosted by Stephen Mangan. The BBC Three show returns next Sunday – watch for on-set interview material on Sci-Fi Bulletin this week.
