Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

As production continues on the Batman prequel Gotham, Warner Bros. has started to release images of the characters, including Carmen Bicondova’s pre-Catwoman Selina Kyle.

Bicondova follows in the pawprints of Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises, Halle Berry in the 2004 movie, Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns, and Julie Newman, Lee Meriwether and Eartha Kitt in the 1960s Batman adaptation

In Gotham, Kyle is “a teenage orphan who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable. A street thief and skilled pickpocket, she’s dangerous when cornered.”

Pictures of Donal Logue as Jim Gordon’s partner and mentor Harvey Bullock were also released last week. He’s described as “rough around the edges” and someone who “plays loose with police procedure, but gets results – and he does so with old-school hard-ass panache.”

Ben McKenzie stars as Jim Gordon in the series which is set to premiere this autumn on Fox.
