Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s Powers are coming to the Playstation in a series of 10 episodes produced by Sony TV.
Although a pilot based on the comic book was created for FX in 2011, scripted by Bendis, this will be a new version, scripted by Charlie Huston in which Chicago detectives Christian Walker and Deena Walker investigate crimes committed by people with “powers” (superheroes). Jason Patric and Lucy Punch played the roles for FX; no casting has been announced for the revised version.
The comic book series began in 2000 for Image Comics and moved to Marvel’s creator-owned imprint Icon in 2004.
