Ioan Gruffudd, who played Reed Richards, aka Mr Fantastic, in the last two Fantastic Four movies, is to play immortal New York medical examiner Dr Henry Morgan in the new ABC pilot, Forever.
The Welsh actor, also known for his roles as Horatio Hornblower, and as Tony Blair in W., recently appeared in Glee, and will star in the pilot opposite Judd Hirsch. The pilot is written by Matthew Miller and directed by Brad Anderson.
