Welsh actor Matt Ryan has been cast as John Constantine in NBC’s new version of the DC anti-hero.

Best known for his role as Mick Rawson on Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour, Ryan has also appeared in Matthew Vaughn’s Layer Cake, as well as an episode of Torchwood. Supernatural detective Constantine was created by Alan Moore and has appeared in various guises in the DC universe over the past 20 years.
