It’s only mid-February but the future of some of the CW’s key fantasy shows is already assured.

Renewal announcements have been made today for Supernatural, which has been gaining some of its best episode ratings since 2010 with the most recent season; The Vampire Diaries – the highest rated show in key demos; its spin-off The Originals, which has overcome a weaker ratings start to become a comfortable pairing with its parent series; and Arrow, the network’s most watched series.

There is no word yet on a third season for Beauty and the Beast, or a second for The Tomorrow People.
