With filming due to start soon, more casting has been revealed for Glen Morgan’s eight-part adaptation of Michael Marshall Smith’s novel The Intruders for BBC America.

Mimic and Falling Skies’ Mira Sorvino will play Amy, the wife of John Simm’s ex-cop Jack Whalen; James Frain will play Richards Shepherd, a murderer on a 20-year secret mission who claims to be an FBI agent. The series follows Whalen as he tries to discover what has happened to Amy when she disappears, and brings him into contact with a mysterious cabal who are seeking immortality.
