Michael Gallatin, the Nazi-fighting werewolf created by Robert R. McCammon, is coming to the big screen in an adaptation of his debut story, The Wolf’s Hour, courtesy of Universal Pictures.

According to the story at Deadline, Universal Pictures has acquired the novel for Chris Morgan and Emile Gladstone to produce through their Universal-based Chris Morgan Productions banner. The script has been penned by Bradley and Kevin Marcus, who optioned the rights some years back and have spent time refining the screenplay.

McCammon recently followed up the novel with a collection of novellas and short stories, entitled The Hunter from the Woods.
