The fourth season of HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones will begin on Sunday April 6th in the States, according to the network’s announcement at the Television Critics Association tour. Sky Atlantic has confirmed that it will air the episodes a day later, beginning on Monday April 7th at 9 pm.
This comes hot on the heels of the news that Michiel Huisman will become a regular on the show’s fifth season – which may not have been officially confirmed yet, but is regarded as a formality. Huisman joins the show in the fourth year, replacing Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis, the love interest for Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys.
