NOS4R2 and Locke & Key writer Joe Hill has teamed up once more with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman for a reboot of the classic horror series Tales from the Darkside.
The half-hour anthology series created by George A. Romero ran from 1984 to 1988, and included stories by Stephen King, Harlan Ellison, Clive Barker and Robert Bloch. The new version, which the CW is looking at as a summer series, would retain the half-hour formula.
Hill, who worked with Orci and Kurtzman on the pilot of his IDW comicbook series Locke & Key, will pen the opening instalment and the trio will executive produce the show alongside Heather Kadin, Mitch Galin and Jerry Colod for CBS TV Studios.
