Akiva Goldsman and Fringe producer Jeff Pinkner have teamed up to work on a pilot for Paramount Television based on the hit 1990 film Ghost.
Announcing the project, Paramount TV president Amy Powell said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Akiva and Jeff, two deeply creative and accomplished talents, on the television adaptation of this classic supernatural drama.”
The Oscar-winning movie saw Whoopi Goldberg’s psychic try to help the recently deceased Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) reconnect with his widow, played by Demi Moore.
