The CW has decided to give full season orders to all of its new shows this year, which means that both the Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals, and the revamp of the classic British show, The Tomorrow People, will get 22 episodes to embed themselves with audiences.
“We’re excited about the creative momentum the producers have established for all three of our new series [including period drama Reign], and now our fans will have the chance to see the full stories unfold for them this season,” CW president Mark Pedowitz said in the network’s release.
The Originals airs in the UK on Syfy; The Tomorrow People are coming to E4 next year.
