Fox’s update of Sleepy Hollow has quickly been granted a second season after only three episodes of its freshman year have aired.
“The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking – it’s a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast,” Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company explained. “I can’t wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season Two.”
The series was co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove and Len Wiseman, and gave Fox its most watched autumn premiere since 24 debuted in 2001. It begins in the UK on October 9 on the Universal Channel.
