Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

The ABC Family network has optioned A.E. Rought’s reimagining of the Frankenstein story, Broken and Tainted, for a new one-hour series.

The adaptation will be prepared by Junction Entertainment although, as author Rought points out on her blog, “An option isn’t a guarantee a TV series (or other screen adaptation) will actually happen”. The story is described as being about “a grieving girl [who] falls in love with a boy not wholly himself”.

Broken was published by Strange Chemistry in January, with Tainted arriving in stores next week (1st October).
