Nicholas Young, who played John throughout the original incarnation of The Tomorrow People, as well as reprising his role for the Big Finish continuation audios, will be appearing in the CW’s reboot of the show later this year.

According to TV Guide, “Young will play Aldus Crick, the scientist who first discovered and studied the original generation of Tomorrow People. Stephen (Robbie Amell) believes that Aldus, a friend of his father’s, may have information concerning his dad’s disappearance. However, by helping Stephen find his father, Aldus puts himself back on ULTRA’s radar and in danger with the very organization that forced him into hiding.” In the reboot, ULTRA are hunting down the emerging Tomorrow People.

Young will appear in episodes eight and nine of the show, which starts in the US on October 9, and begins on E4 in the UK in 2014.
