With filming only a few weeks away, the cast for Guy Ritchie’s reboot of The Man From UNCLE is building. Joining Henry Cavill and Arnie Hammer as Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are Alicia Vikander and The Great Gatsby‘s Elizabeth Debicki as the female leads, with Hugh Grant the most recent addition, set to play the Director of British Naval Intelligence.

It seems as if Ritchie is maintaining the period setting that was proposed when Steven Soderbergh was helming the film, although the script is now credited to Ritchie and Lionel Wigram. The movie will see American agent Solo meet Russian Kuryakin with the pair teaming against a new enemy – which fans of the old series will expect to be THRUSH.
