Star_Wars_Logo_svgThe first film in the new Star Wars trilogy, Episode VII, will shoot at Pinewood Studios (home of the James Bond series), according to a report in Screen. Director J.J. Abrams recently confirmed he will be relocating to London in January 2014 to begin production on the movie. The film is currently being scripted by MIchael Arndt and is undergoing early pre-production concept art development. Disney has recently being using Pinewood for major movies, such as the Angelina Jolie-starring Snow White movie Maleficent.

A cast breakdown listing the type of actors sought to fill major roles in Episode VII has been released to casting agencies via the film’s casting directors April Webster and Alyssa Weisberg in the US and UK-based Nina Gold. The breakdown reads as follow (and as it provides some guidance to the characters potentially in the film should be treated as a SPOILER for those who’d rather not know):

A young man aged between 20 and 25, witty and smart, fit but not classically handsome,

Man in late twenties, also fit, but this one is handsome and confident.

Late teenage girl, independent, good sense of humour, also… physically fit .

Second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and physically fit.

Man in his forties, obviously physically fit, this one is a military type.

A man of around thirty or so, this one is an intellectual type.

Finally, a guy aged around seventy, strong opinions and tough.
