Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Galaxy Quest star Robin Sachs has died on the eve of his 62nd birthday.
Sachs was best known for playing Ethan Rayne, Tony Head’s character’s opposite number on Buffy, a role that he greatly enjoyed. He also endured the make up to play General Sarris on the Star Trek homage Galaxy Quest. Sachs additionally appeared on Babylon 5, Star Trek: Voyager and Torchwood: Miracle Day.
He moved to Los Angeles after some years working in London, and was a regular voice artist.
