According to a tweet from Bryan Singer, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore are reprising their roles as Rogue, Kitty Pryde and Iceman for the upcoming X-Men: First Class sequel, Days of Future Past.

The story’s multiple timelines allows the reappearance of past members of the franchise, with Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Hugh Jackman also returning. Singer thanked Brett Ratner, the director of the final main X-Men feature, The Last Stand, for ‘letting them live.’

The film is expected to open July 18, 2014.
