Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Hot on the heels of the announcement of Sally Knyvette and Stephen Greif’s addition to the roster of Blake’s 7 actors reprising their original roles comes the news that Steven Pacey is also returning to the Liberator, with his first appearance in volume 6 of The Liberator Chronicles out next October.

Set during Series C, volume 6 starts with Incentive by Peter Anghelides. The Liberator crew are recovering from a Galactic War (as chronicled in Warship, out this February). Their search for Blake and Jenna leads them into danger. Paul Darrow and guest star Adrian Lukis appear alongside Pacey. Recorded today (December 13), it was written by Anghelides after it was decided to make Warship a full-cast audio.

The other two stories chronicle the events of the third season from the points of view of the two missing crew members. Blake’s Story, by Mark Wright and Cavan Scott, stars Gareth Thomas as Blake and Paul Darrow as Avon and follows his journey to being a troubled, scarred man on a distant rebel world, as seen in the final episode of the show.

Jenna’s Story by Steve Lyons sees the Liberator’s pilot continue her battle against the Federation. Sally Knyvette appears alongside John Banks as Correl.
