According to a tweet by series star Nina Toussaint-White earlier today, ITV2’s witchy drama Switch is not being renewed for a second season.

“Bad news…. No more switch! :-( #gutted #next” was the comment posted around 1 p.m. on Saturday 8th.

Produced by Being Human’s Philip Trethowan and Rob Pursey, Switch followed the adventures of a quartet of witches based in London’s Camden Lock area. Its gentle blend of humour and mild threat reinforced by the relationships between the central characters appealed to some – but clearly not enough for ITV2 to commission a second year.

As yet there has been no formal confirmation of the news.
