Fox is putting some weight behind its Marvel line with the announcement that Chronicle director Josh Trank is officially directing the reboot of Fantastic Four, which the studio is lining up.
It joins The Wolverine sequel, which is heading for production shortly, and Matthew Vaughn’s follow-up to X-Men: First Class in the line-up.
The studio’s Daredevil feature is facing problems, as director David Slade has pulled out because of his commitments to the pilot of Hannibal. According to Deadline, if the movie about the blind superhero doesn’t go into production by this autumn, the property could revert to Marvel Studios and Disney.
