Veteran genre actor David Warner and Outcasts/Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham will be appearing in Mark Gatiss’ story for Doctor Who‘s seventh season, currently filming.

According to the new Doctor Who Magazine, the episode will be a historical tale, with Gatiss noting that “the fact that the adventure is set where it is, is the fulfilment of a long-term dream.”

Other guest stars for the new season include Ben Browder, Dougray Scott and Jessica Raine. The opening episode, Asylum of the Daleks, will be premiered at the BFI in August.
