The season opener for Doctor Who‘s seventh year will receive its premiere at the Edinburgh International TV Festival, being held in the Scottish capital between August 23rd and 25th.

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat will be present during the Festival, and is running a masterclass on Sherlock alongside its co-creator Mark Gatiss and producer Sue Vertue.

The as yet unnamed episode is set to feature every incarnation of the Daleks seen on screen over the past 49 years. No further details have yet been revealed.
