Jeremy Carver, currently co-showrunner on Syfy’s adaptation of Being Human, is stepping back across to the CW’s Supernatural next season, if the show gets picked up, according to a report at Deadline.
He will be replacing Sera Gamble, who is leaving Supernatural after being involved with the show since its inception. Carver was a co-producer on the CW hit during the 2009-10 season, before moving to Being Human. He will continue as an executive producer on that, with his wife Anna Fricke becoming sole showrunner.
Although no formal announcement has been made regarding Supernatural’s future, it seems likely that the show will be renewed when the CW make their formal announcements over the next few weeks.
