Footage from the long-gestating third film in Barry Sonnenfeld’s Men in Black series is finally being released, with the first TV spot for the movie appearing this weekend.

Showing Will Smith’s Agent J in action both in the present day and back in 1969, it suggests that the series has maintained its outlandish visuals for its belated return. MIB3 sees J return to the past to prevent the death of his partner K (played by both Tommy Lee Jones and Josh  Brolin). The film has had a bumpy ride to the cinema screens, with production halted for a considerable period while the script was reworked.
