The Woman in Black: Angels of Death will be coming to cinemas next year, courtesy of Hammer, who have given the go-ahead for a sequel to their highly successful horror movie.
Set forty years after the events of the first film, which stars Daniel Radcliffe, Angels of Death will be written by Jon Crocker, based on an original story by The Woman in Black‘s creator Susan Hill.
Simon Oakes, vice-chairman of Exclusive Media and president & CEO of Hammer Films, said: “We are proud and honoured to be working with Susan again on The Woman in Black: Angels of Death, a wonderful new tale every bit as atmospheric and terrifying as its predecessor The Woman in Black.”
The Woman in Black: Angels of Death will be produced by Exclusive Media, Talisman, Cross Creek Pictures and Alliance Films, and executive produced by Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment.
