Bryan Fuller’s reboot of the classic 1960s TV series The Munsters has received a pilot order from NBC less than two weeks after he delivered the script.
According to the report at Deadline, NBC is looking at making The Munsters either a summer or an “event” series.
The Pushing Daisies creator is also working on the script for his adaptation of Thomas Harris’ serial killer anti-hero Hannibal Lecter. If NBC like the script for Hannibal, they will go straight for a 13 episode order.
